Airplane mechanic Marvin S. works on the oil-system of a replacement engine on a Lockheed
L-1649 Starliner which were first introduced in the late 1950’s. Once the plane is flight-worthy it
will be flown to an airline transport museum in Maine, being sponsored through Maine Coast Airways.

After shopping for over 8 hours at the Wellington Mall on the Green Linda F. (L) drags her three full
shopping bags toward the exit doors of the mall as she took advantage of discounted sales prices and
went shopping on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving Day for her Christmas gifts.


92-yr old Kermitt M. (Right) helps his 95-yr old wife of 10-yrs Mabel who has Alzheimer's disease with
eating her lunch during one of the senior luncheons' held twice a month at the Myakka City United Methodist Church in Myakka City, Florida. The church serves hot meals to needy families’ lunch every other Tuesday.

After South Plantation High School’s Solar Knights spent almost two years working on their solar car, racing day has finally come. 18yr old Noah S. of Davie, Florida, is the first of their 7-person team to take the wheel. The drop of the green-flag signals the start of their 9-day cross country drive from Round Rock, Texas to Newburgh, New York.


The Solar Knights drove their solar car from Round Rock, Texas to Newburgh, New York about a 689-mile trip in 9-days. This picture was taken as the Solar Knight passes by an Amish horse drawn carriage in Holmes, Ohio.


Ten year old Ronnie R. sits in a bathtub covered with some of the 3,500 aluminum
cans hes' collected over the summer for the recycling program at his school Waters Edge
Elementary in Boca Raton, Florida where he attends the 5th grade.
